A Family Legacy Overlooking Agadir Bay

Following the devastating 1960 earthquake that reshaped Agadir, the Moroccan government encouraged tourism and urban renewal. In 1971, the Abaakil brothers chose a privileged hilltop plot along Boulevard Mohammed V with panoramic views over the bay.

Tragically, one brother passed away in a plane accident shortly after acquiring the land. Mr. Najem Abaakil, supported by his younger brother Houssain, carried the dream forward.

After years of dedicated work, Anezi Tower Hotel & Apartments opened its doors in 1985. The striking 10-floor tower features 255 elegantly appointed rooms and suites served by three elevators, complemented by six lower lodges offering 93 fully equipped apartments.

Its elevated position amid lush gardens made it an instant landmark, visible from afar and providing guests an unmatched sense of openness and tranquility, just steps from the beach.

In 1999, Mr. Najem Abaakil passed away in a car accident. Since then, the hotel has been lovingly managed by his daughters and sons with the same humility, pride, and dedication, thanks to their mother.

For the family, Anezi Tower is more than a business, it is like their own house. They warmly welcome guests in memory of their parents and family legacy, ensuring every stay is filled with genuine care and authentic Moroccan hospitality.

Over the years, we have carried out many renovations and made significant investments to meet evolving market needs and comply with local and international regulations.
We are currently pursuing Intertek Crystal certification in Water, Fire, and Food safety. Room doors are being upgraded to the latest anti-fire standards, high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and professional security personnel are on site 24/24.
